Fannonsaysnearly20percentofelectronicwasteisrecyclednationwide.Thirteenyearsago,itwasonlyabout6percent.Recyclingratescontinuetoriseasmoremunitieshavebannedelectronicsfromlandfillsinordertokeepe-wastepoisonslikelead(铅)andmercury(汞)outofgarbagedumps.
