•Pay工资,薪水。
普通用语,可代替salary,和wage。
例如:

作,因为工资太低了。
•Salary工资,薪水。
一般指脑力劳动者所得,且工资较固定,可按月、

含义较广,可指工资或其他收入。

•这三个词都是及物动词,表示“禁止”。
•Ban语气最重,指权威机关“正式禁止”。
一般含有“严厉谴责”的意思,只能用
于严重危害公众利益的事物。
但反动统治集团,从他们的利益出发,“禁止”人
民进步正义的活动、出版物等,也可用ban。

禁止原子武器和核武器!
•Swimmingisbannedinthislake.禁止在这座湖中游泳。

•Forbid最普通的用词,可用于较细小的事物。

省去了动词is。

世界上几乎每个政府都禁止人民携带武器。
•在用法方面,ban只能以事物为宾语;prohibit和forbid可以用人或物
作宾语,但须说prohibitapersonfrom,后连接动名词;forbida
personto,后连接原动词,构成不定式。
•Prohibit指“(通过法律、法令或严正警告)禁止某些事物”,应用范
围较ban广。
例如:

ofChina.鸦片交易在中华人民共和国是严令禁止的。
