MichelangelolaterreturnedtolivehisfatherinFlorence.Hisfathersoonrealizedhowintelligenttheboywasandsenthimawaytoschool.Michelangelo,though,wasn’tveryinterestedinschoolandspentmuchmoretimedrawingthanstudying.Anartstudentthatheknewconvincedhimtostudytheartofpainting.Butthisangeredhisfather,whowantedhimtobecomeasuccessfulbusinessmanormerchant.However,at13Michelangelobecameanapprenticetoafamouspainter.
