Theresearcherstest-rantheAItoolinMali.Theyfoundthatitpredictedmorethanthree-quartersofthewater-relatedconflictsthere.Toachievethis.thesystemisfedwithavarietyofdata.“Firstthere’sthenaturalsideofthing—sorainfalldata,soilmoistureandmanyothernaturalfactors,”explainsSchme.Thisenablesittoidentifyareaswhereavailabilityofwaterislikelytobecomeaconcern.
