Chinaisthehomecountryoftea.BeforetheTangDynasty(618-907),Chineseteawasexportedbylandandsea,firsttoJapanandKorea,thentoIndiaandCentralAsiaand,intheMing(1368-1644)andQing(1644-1911)Dynasties,totheArabianPeninsula.Intheearlyperiodofthe17thcentury,ChineseteawasexportedtoEurope,wheretheupperclassadoptedthefashionofdrinkingtea.Chinesetea,likeChinesesilkandchina,isanoutstandingcontributiontotheworld'smaterialandspiritualcivilization.
