Nurse,referstotechnicalpersonforheathwhogetpracticecertificatethroughpracticalregistration,engaginginnursingactivitiesaccordingtoregulations,fulfillingtheirdutiesofprotectinglife,relievingpainofpatientandimprovinghealthofpatient.Becauseofthedifferentnationalconditions,thereisgreatdifferencebetweenChinesenursesandAmericannursesinmanagementprinciple,nursingeducation,professionalstatusandtreatment.
Thepaper,throughthecontrastofnurseinChinaandAmerican,canletreadersunderstanddifferenceofnursesindisparatecultureandmanagementprinciples.Atthesametime,itcanalsohelpspeopletorealizetheinsufficientofChinesenursesinmanagementsystem,nursingeducationandtreatmentwhencomparingtoAmericannurse.Inanotheraspect,thepapercanhelpthesocietytoimprovesthecarelevelofChinesenursesandcreatesagoodenvironmentforpatient.

护士,是指经执业注册取得护士执业证书,依照本条例规定从事护理活动,履行保护生命、减轻痛苦、增进健康职责的卫生技术人员。
由于中美两国国情、文化传统和价值观等方面的差异,中美护士在管理原则、护理教育、职业地位和待遇等问题上存在着差别
文章通过对中美护士的比较能让读者理解不同文化氛围和管理原则下护士的区别。
同时,在同美国护士的对比当中,本文能帮助让人们认识到中国护士行业在管理系统、护理教育以及待遇上同美国的区别。
我们既要学习和借鉴美国的护理教育标准,又要避免盲目照搬,要结合中国的国情,使之适合本国文化的要求。
通过借鉴和学习,有助于提高中国护士的护理水平,从而为患者创造一个温馨、舒适的就医环境。

Introduction
Nursingisaprofessionwithinthehealthcaresectorfocusedonthecareofindividuals,families,andcommunitiessotheymayattain,maintain,orrecoveroptimalhealthandqualityoflife.TheAmericanNursesAssociation(ANA)statesnursingistheprotection,promotion,andoptimizationofhealthandabilities,preventionofillnessandinjury,alleviationofsufferingthroughthediagnosisandtreatmentofhumanresponse,andadvocacyinthecareofindividuals,families,communities,andpopulations.
Duetothedisparatenationalconditionsandculture,ChinesenursesandAmericannursesaredifferentinmanyaspects:
differentnursingeducation,differentmanagementsystem,differentprofessionalstatusandtreatment..Also,theshortageofnurseinAmericahasbeenaproblemwhileChinahasRichresourcesofthenurse.AndAmericaintendstobringinsomenursesfromChina.Therefor,analyzingthedifferencebetweenChineseandAmericannursesisreallyimportant.
Thisthesisisdividedintofivechapters.Chapteroneservesasangeneralintroductionofthewholethesis.ChaptertwoanalyzethedifferentnursingeducationofnursebetweenChinaandAmericainthreeaspects:
applicationstandard,trainingcontentandassessment.ChapterthreealsoexplainthedifferentmanagementsystemofnurseinChinaandAmericainthreeways:
registerednursesandaccesssystem,thenursescopeoflawandthenursemanagementorganizationlawaspects.ChapterfourisaboutdifferentprofessionalstatusandtreatmentofnurseinChinaandAmerica.ThelastchapteristheconclusionwhichgivepeoplesomeadvisesabouthowtoimprovethesituationofChinesenurse.
ThispaperaimstoletreaderunderstandthedifferencebetweenChinesenurseandAmericannurseindifferentaspects.Inthatwaycanweseeksolutionstoalterthesituationthatwehaveaplentyofnursesbuttheminorityarequalified.Itisbelievedthatourhospitalsneedqualifiedandresponsiblenurseswhocouldprovideacomfortableandwarmatmosphereforpatients.

Itisknowtoallthatifonewanttobeanurse,thefirststepsheneedtodoistohavethenursingeducation.ButthenursingeducationinChinaandAmericanisdifferent.

Theyshallprovidethetheirnurselicenseandnotarization.MostAmericanstatesrequirenursestopasstheCGFNS(CommissiononGraduatesofForeignNursingSchools)Thatis,thetestoftheForeignNursingschoolongraduatestudents.Also,theyneedtoofferthescoresofEnglishproficiencytest,suchasTOEFLorIELTStest..
QualificationofChineseregisterednursesisdifferentfromAmericannurseinsuchaspects:
Ourcountryexecutesasinglenurseregistrationsystem.Allnurses,regardlessofqualifications,jobtitleandduties,haveasingleregisterednurselicense.Atpresentourcountryhasthetechnicalsecondaryschoolnursestudents,collegenursestudents,bachelor,masteranddoctor.Buttheyallregisterthesamenurselicenseregardlessoftheeducationbackground,whichisnotconducivetodistinguishthenurseandnotconducivetoemployingthenursehierarchically,traininganddevelopingthem.
Thepeoplewhoarequalifiedtotaketheexaminationneedtofinish3yearsoffull-timecourseonmidwiferylearningandnursingwhichisstipulatebysecondaryvocationalschoolsandinstitutionsofhigherlearningeducationadministrativedepartmentunderthestatecouncil.Alsotheyneedtofinishtheclinicalpracticemorethan8monthsinteachingoringeneralhospital.
Then,thestudentsshouldapplyforthequalificationofattendingthenurseexamination.Theyneedtofillintheapplicationformandtheschoolortheunitprovidethemwithproofs.Procedureisrelativelysimpleandqualificationdoesnotneedtopayfeesatpresent.
