Domesticmarketshavebecomematureandsaturated.CBEisthemostlogicalwayforfuturegrowth.Governmentsaroundtheworldhaverecognizedecommerceasanengineoffutureeconomicgrowth,especiallyinsupportingSMEstoexpandcross-border.SupportivepoliciesboostthedevelopmentofCBE.
InternationalresearchconductedbyPayvision showedthat70%ofcompaniessurveyedindicatedthatsellingproductsandservicesoverseashasproventobeprofitable.While40%indicatedthat emergingmarkets weretheirprimaryfocus,and45%indicatethatChinawillbetheirmainfocusinthefuture.

Accordingto2015ecommercemarketplacedata,inChina,intermsofcross-bordersales,B2Crevenuedwarfedwith$221minB2B.ChineseecommercemarketreachedUSD2.3trillionin2015andalmost70%camefromB2B(ChinaInternetWatch).
Inabsoluteterms,theEuropeanB2BecommercemarketisgrowingatafasterratethantheB2Csector.Yet,theB2Bsectorstillhasmajorgrowthopportunity.Morethan50%ofcompaniesmakepurchasesthroughecommerce,butlessthan22%ofcompaniesareactuallysellingthroughecommerce.
