Goodafternoon,ladiesandgentlemen.I’mgladtointerpretmylessonhere.ThelessonplanI’mgoingtotalkaboutisfromSEFCbook1A,the1stlessonofUnit4,unforgettableexperiences.I’llexplaininthefollowing5parts:
thetheoreticalbasis,understandingoftheteachingmaterial,teachingmethodsandstudyingways,teachingprocedure,blackboardwork.
1.Thetheoreticalbasis
First,mytheoreticalbasisisschematheory.Accordingtoit,theprocessoflisteningisaninteractivemovementbetweenthelisteningmaterialandthestudents.Formycourseisalisteningandspeakinglesson,sometimes,studentsmayfeelhardinunderstandingtheforeignbackgroundsduringthecourseoftheirlistening.Soatthebeginningofthelesson,Igiveoutsomeinformationofthebackgroundaswellassomedifferencesbetweentwolanguages.Ihopetoactivatetheirschemaintheirmindsbydoingso.Forexample,IintroduceHowardCarterbeforethewarmingup,andIask“whereisthemandriving”togivethemathoughtofbackgroundinlisteningpart.
2.Understandingoftheteachingmaterial
Myunderstandingoftheteachingmaterialincludes3parts:
thekeypoints,thedifficultiesandteachingobjectives.

III)Moralobjectives
Thisunitconcernssomeunexpectedaccidentsordisasters.Whenlearningthis,Ssarerequiredtodevelopanoptimisticemotionandreadinesstohelpothers,andtobuilduparelationofhelpingeachotherbetweenclassmates.
3.Teachingmethodsandstudyingways
Asforteachingmethods,Imainlyadoptmunicativeapproachinmyclass.I’llorganizethemtoperformvariousdialoguesinpairsorgroups.Whilefortheirlearning,theywillstudythrough“listeningandquestionanswering”.

Hereismymostimportantpartofmyteachingplan,teachingprocedure.Itincludesfivesteps:
greetingandwarmingup,pre-listening,listening,speaking,andsummaryandhomework.
Step
(1)greetingandwarmingup(5minutes)
Thestepwillcost5minutes.Firstly,I’llaskSssomequestionsaboutZhangHengaccordingtopicture1,whichwillleadtothe4picturesformakingdialoguesinpartofWarmingup.Andthen4dialogueswillbemadeseparatelyusingtheattributiveclause.
Step
(2)pre-listening(3minutes)
I’llaskSstoreadtherequirementsatthebeginningoflisteningpart.Then,they’llbegiven3minutestohaveadiscussiononwhathashappenedaccordingtothepictures.ThisstepisnecessaryforSstohaveabetterunderstandingofthebackgroundofthelisteningcontext.Andalsotheycanbeactivatedbyguessingwhathashappenedandwillhappen.
Step(3)listening(15minutes)

The4thstepisalsoanimportantpartinmylesson.I’lladopt3pmodelinmyspeakingteaching,thatis,Presentation,PracticeandProduction.Inthetext,thereare4picturesdesignedfordialoguessoastoattainknowledgethroughpractices.Exactly,Iwillfirstlytakepicture1forexample.Imakesomesentenceswiththeusefulexpressionslistedafterbelowthepictures,explainingthewaystoexpressone’stroubleandtofortotherswhoareintrouble.Then,apairofstudentswillfollowtoactoutthedialogue.Imayremindthemthatitishappenedafteranearthquake.Bydoingthis,Ihopetheywillgoonwiththedialogueeasilyandnotgofarawayfromthetopics.Afterallpairsactingoutdialogues,I’llexpoundfurthertheknowledgeandrulesofmunicationwithinthesedialogues,hopingthey’llfreelyapplytheknowledgeandrulesintheirdailysituations.
Therest5minutesforthepartthenwillbegiventoconsolidatetheknowledgeinthelesson.Inotherwords,sentenceswiththestructureofattributivesclausewillbemadeaccordingtothepictures.AtlastI’llgivethemthesuggestedsentences.

MiludeerisaChinesedeer.Ithasalongtail,widehooves,andbranchedantlers.AnotherChinesenameforitis“fourunlikes,.”becausetheanimalswereseenashavingthehornsofastag,theneckofacamel,thefootofacow,andthetailofanass.
TheseanimalswerefirstmadeknowntoWesternscienceinthe19thcentury,byFatherArmandDavid,aFrenchmissionaryworkinginChina.Atthetime,theonlysurvivingherdwasinapreservebelongingtotheChineseemperor.ThelastherdofMiludeersthatremainedinChinawereeatenbyWesternandJapanesetroopsthatwerepresentatthetimeoftheBoxerRebellion.
Thesedeerarenowfoundinzoosaroundtheworld,andaherdofMiludeerwasreintroducedtoDafengReserve,Chinainthelate1980s.Theyareclassifiedas“criticallyendangered.”inthewild,butdonotappeartohavesufferedfromageneticbottleneckbecauseofsmallpopulationsize.
Atigerisalargecatfamousforitsbeautifulfuroforangestripedwithblack.TigersliveinAsiaandarebeingveryrare.Thisisduetopeoplehuntingthemfortheirfuranddestroyingtheforeststheylivein.
