TheonlydisappointmentforHowardCartercamewhenhefoundthatKingTut’sbodywasnothingbutdust.Apparentlyamistakehadbeenmadewhentheking’sremainsweremummified(使成木乃伊).Carterdid,however,find143piecesofjewelrywithinthemummycase,mostlymadeofgoldandpreciousstones.
