ChicagoitselfishometothelargestefforttoincludeChineseinUSpublicschools.Theprogramherehasgrowntoinclude3,000studentsin20schools,withmoreschoolsonawaitinglist.ProgramshavealsospreadtoplaceslikeHouston,LosAngeles,NewYorkCity,andNorthCarolina.It’struethatthenumberofstudentslearningChineseistinycomparedwithhowmanystudySpanishorFrench.
