Whatareourbasicneeds,then?
Formostpeople,thebasicneedsarenotverybasicanymore.Weexpecttobeabletoprovideafamilywithadequateshelter,newclothing,plentyoffood,healthcareandeducation,whilealsosavingforourretirement.
“Meetingbasicneedsrequireseffortanddedication,butifyourbasicneedsaremet,takeagoodlookatyourlifeandatyourcareerchoices.Work-lifebalanceisimportant.Itdoesn’tmakesensetowork40hoursperweekfor40yearsinajobyouhate,andliveonlyfortheweekend.
