WuxiaFilms
Wuxiafilmswerethenextpopularstylemartialartsfilmsfromthe1960to1980.Thesetypesofmartial
artswereoftensetinancientChinathatheldalotofviolentswordplay.Theheroesweretheunderdogs,fightingforthelowerclass.Theysetouttofightthewrongsthatweredonebytheoppressors.

Whenpeoplementionkungfufilms,mostnaturallythinkofactorBruceLee,andrightlyso.Inthe1970s,thesefilmsbroughtoutamorecredible(可信的)formofmartialarts.Thefilmspushedthefilmindustrytowardunarmedbattleratherthantheswordplayinearliermartialartsfilms.WiththesuccessoftheBruceLeefilms,Chinesemartialartsfilmsstartedonaninternationalrise.
