Abstract
“PrideandPrejudice”wasaverypopularnovelbyJaneAustenanditwasreadwidelyallovertheworld.JaneAustenwasoneofthedistinguishedrealisticnovelistsinthe19thcentury-Englishliterature.Atthattime,marriagewastheonlywayforwomentogainsocialstatusandrecognition.Itcanbedividedintoseveraltypicalthroughthenovelofmarriage,thenanalyzesthevalueorientationofthismarriage.Somepeoplemayrealizethatmarriagecanprovideopportunitiesofsocialstatusandfinancialsupport,moneyandsocialstatuswasthemostcloselyconnectedintheirdecisionofmaritalpartners.Foralongtime,bothintheOrientalcultureandwesternculture,aboutmarriage,thereisaveryapproximatecriterion:
perfect-match.Tosomeextent,thestandardemphasizesthematerialbaseofmarriage,namelytheimportanceofloveandwealthforthemarriage.Todescribethetangleofseveraltypicalmarriagesof“PrideandPrejudice”,theauthorJaneAustensoastoexpresstheadvanceofthewayofmarriage,shethought,andahappymarriageisloveplusmoney.Inthecontextoftoday'ssociety,becausetheideologyandvalueorientationofourtimesarechangedandrecreated,“leftoverwomen”requiretheirMr.Rightmorespecific:

傲慢与偏见中简奥斯汀的婚姻观
内容提要
《傲慢与偏见》是简奥斯丁一本在全世界都被广泛传颂的小说,简·奥斯汀是十九世纪英国文学史上最伟大的现实主义小说家之一。
小说将故事情节置于十九世纪初,十九世纪的英国,婚姻是女性获得社会地位和社会认知的唯一途径。
我们可以通过这本小说将婚姻分为几种典型并且分析这几种婚姻观的价值取向。
有些人认为婚姻是用来创造机会去提高自己的社会地位和获得金钱支撑,金钱与社会地位是他们选择伴侣时考虑的最密切联系的东西。
长久以来,无论是在东方文化还是西方文化里,关于婚姻,都有一条极为近似的准则——门当户对。
这个标准在一定程度上强调的是婚姻的物质基础,即金钱和财富对于婚姻的重要性。
对几种典型婚姻关系的纠结进行描写的《傲慢与偏见》,是作者简·奥斯汀借以表达其超前的婚姻观念的方式,她认为,幸福的婚姻=爱情+金钱。
而在当今社会语境下,因我们这个时代的意识形态与价值取向转变而催生的“剩女”对自己的先生要求就更为具体:
将长相、才华、学历、人品、经济等诸多因素融合,总结为三个字:
“高富帅”。
跨越文化界限,“高富帅”择偶标准与《傲慢与偏见》中的婚姻价值参照理念在历史的轮回中是否不谋而合?

JaneAustenwasoneofthedistinguishedEnglishnovelistsinthenineteenthcentury,whowasbornonDecember16,1775,inthevillageofStevensonHampshire,England.Herfatherwasacountryclergyman.Toussurprise,Austenhadneverbeenonaformalschool,butshewaswelleducatedbyherfamily.Inhertwelveyearsold,Austenbegantoengageinwriting.Inherlifetimeshecontributedsixnovelsandthreeminorarticles.Obviouslyshewasafruitfulnovelistandengagedinwritingforallherlife.Prevailingdomesticandforeign,“PrideandPrejudice”dominatedthebest-sellerlistsinthecritics,whichhavecommenteditfromsocialandhistoricalaspect,sothethesisaimstoanalyzemarriagesdeeplyin“PrideandPrejudice”,inordertobeabletobetterunderstandtheoriginalviewsonmarriage,

“PrideandPrejudice”waswritteninthelate1700sfirstly,andthenrewrittenin1811-1812;Thelastpublishedinearly1813.ItwasprobablythemostpopularofJaneAusten'snovels.“PrideandPrejudice”originallymadefirstimpressionsonwhichdealtwiththemisjudgmentsthatoftenencounterastrangeratthefirsttime,andhowthosemisjudgmentscouldchangeasindividualslearnmoreabouteachother.Howtogetahusband,thericher,thebetter,isthecentralthemeofthenovel,asElizabethandDarcy’slovestory.Theirlovestoryinterpretedthethemeofthearticle.Throughthedescriptionofthecharactersdailylife,Austenledreadersintothe19thcenturywithherownvisualangle.JaneAustenwrotemanybooksinherlifetimeandeachhaditsowncharms,allofwhichwereclassics.
Therewasnodoubtthat“PrideandPrejudice”washermostoutstandingrepresentativeworks.Eventoday,theinfluencesof“PrideandPrejudice”stillexistedinourmodernsociety,suchasthemaritalidealwasstillthedreamofalargeamountofyoungwomen.Becauseahappymarriagewasaperpetualpursuitofmostpeople

1.ThemarriageofWilliamCollinsandCharlotteLucas
CharlotteLucaswhosefatherwasamerchant,SirWilliamLucas.Mr.CollinswasastupidpastorwhowillbeinheritedMr.Bennettheritage.HisrealintentionofvisitingLongbournwastofindawifethere.Hewasarrogance,narrow-mindedman;therewasnoconceptoflove.HeplannedtogetmarriedonlybecauseLadyCatherinedeBough,hispatroness,stronglyadviceshimtodoso.LikeMr.Bennett,heapproachesmarriageasabusiness.
TheirmarriagewasjustprotectionoftherestofCharlotte’slife.CharlotteclearlyknewthatMr.Collinstobesurewasneithersensiblenoragreeable;histhoughtwasirksome,butshestillacceptedCollinsasherhusband.Asawomenwantedtomarryjustforsecurityandstatus,andconsideringherplainness,herlackoffortune,andherage,shehadnochoicebutaccepteditwhenfacingtheselectionofahusband.Allshewantedwasacomfortablehome.AsforWilliamCollins,thereasonsformarryingweredifferent.Firstthisisthetruthuniversallyacknowledgedthat“asinglemaninpossessionofagoodfortunemustbeinwantofawife”Hedeservedlyshouldcomplywithit.Secondhethoughtmatrimonywasarightthingtosetanexampleinhisparish.Thirdhehadatendencytogetadviceandrecommendationfromhispatroness.
Aboveallthereasons,wecanrealizethatlovewouldneverexistbetweenthem.CharlottewastheclosestpersoninElizabeth’sworldintemperamentandintelligence.Shewasfairandobjectiveonissuesandhadherownopinion.Beingsuchasensible,intelligentyoungwoman,hermarriagewithCollins,however,shockedpeoplemost,butprovedhersenseandwisdom.SuchhumorousandpiercingdescriptiontoldreadersthatinAusten’stime,manyLucas-likewomenhadnootherwaytoimprovetheirsocialpositionexcepttomarryahusbandwithagoodfortune.
2.ThemarriageofGeorgeWickhamandLydiaBennet
NotonlyGeorgeWickhamandLydiaBennett’smarriagecouldbetakenasanotherexampletoillustratetragedy,butalsoexplainthecentralthemeofAusten’sviewthatamarriagelackoflovewouldnotbeahappyone.
GeorgeWickham,canbethoughtofasthevillainofthebook.Asisknowntoall,heisveryhandsomeandcharmingappearancelikearealgentleman,butwiththedevelopmentofthenovel,hisideologyandvaluesaredisappointed.Infact,heissocorrupt,luxury,alwaysindebt.Heisgoodatsayingsweetwords,andhefocusesonmanyyoungladies,evenourintelligentElizabethhaveappreciatedhim.
Lydia,theyoungestdaughteroftheBonnetfamily,wasastout,be-growinggirl.Shewastooyoungtoknowthesociety,whohadbeenputintopubliceyesatearlyagebysurrounding.Sheisabitsilly,don’thavetheirownideas.ForLydia,herbiggestinterestwastotakepartinparty,whichwouldinvitemanyyoungofficers,andinthoseoccasions,hersimplecourtesyhelpedhergetthefavoroftheofficers.Ironically,underthegentlemanlikeappearance,Wickhamturnedouttobeanotoriousandmoraleoftheofficers.WickhamandLydia’smarriagewasanexaggeratedcomedy.Becauseofthesuperficiallove,LydiaranawaywithWickham,withoutthinkingaboutthebehaviortoherfamilies.Finally,Wickhamagreedtomarryher,forthesakeofreceivingfinancialhelpfromMr.Darcy.Afterfewdays,extravagantbehaviorthrewthemintoadifficultposition.Wickham’sfeelingsforLydiasoonsunkinindifference.TheirmarriagewasabargainforWickham,animpulseforLydia.InAustin'sview,theirmarr
