Yet,cancellingclasswasnotjustabreak.Itwasalsoachallenge,asshewasaskingthemtostopworryingabouttheirgrades,evenifitwasjustanhour.OnestudentwenttotheYaleUniversityArtGalleryforthefirsttimeinherfouryearsatYale.Agroupofstudentswenttoarecordingstudioandplayedanewsong.Morepeoplewereoutside,andmoreweresmiling.That’swhyabout1,200studentsweretakingSantos’sclass,called“PsychologyandtheGoodLife,”thelargestclassinYale’s317-yearhistory.Evennon-YalestudentshadthechancetotakeSantos’sclass.ItwasofferedasanonlinecourseandsheimmediatelybecameanInternethit.
SkylerRobinson,oneofherstudents,wasatalossforawhileaboutwhattododuringhisbreak,andthendecidedtotakeanap.“Itwasagreatnap,”hecommented.Santosdesignedtheclassaftersherealizedthather
