Shallowknowledgeofcommunicationengineering
Inthelate1950s,theadventofthecomputerandpopularization,theinformation'sinfluenceonthesocietyasawholegraduallyincreasetoanabsoluteimportantposition.Theamountofinformation,informationtransmissionspeed,thespeedofinformationprocessingandapplicationdegreeofinformationaregrowingintheformofgeometricseries.
The21stcenturyisaninformation-basedeconomyandprosperityofthenewcentury,itisaneraofinformationexplosion,everydaywecomeintocontactwiththevoluminousinformation,theinformationsources,suchasInternet,mobilephones,TV,newspaper,thepeoplearoundyou,andsoon,cansayinformationhasbeendeeplyintegratedintoourlives,wehavenotinformation.,accordingtoscientistsfromjunkemailstoannoyingads,weeveryday"bombardment"bythevastamountsofinformation.ScientistsintheUnitedStatestocalculateapersononanaveragedayfortheamountofdata.Theyfoundthattheaveragehumandailyviatelevision,radio,newspapers,postersandemailfortheamountofdatathatisequivalentto174newspaperreading.Thestudyalsofoundthattheworld'slibraries,computers,DVDandnewspapercontainstheamountofdataof295trillionbytes.Ifthesedatawillbestoredinacd-rom,CDpiledontheheightequivalenttothedistancebetweentheearthandthemoon,andtheamountofdataisinconstantincrease.
So,inthisrapidlychanginginformationintheeraofinformation,confusedeveryonethatallwalksoflifeshouldbehowtofacesuchasituation?
Ithinkthatmustbeassociatedwithinformationtechnologyintheindustry,soastoachievemoreefficient,morerapidresponse,toadapttotherapidlychangingsocialneeds.
Acrosstheelectronics,communicationengineering,computersciencecoursescompletedwiththecharacteristicsofbothneedagoodbaseformathematics,physics,andstrongabilityofhands-onapplication.Somecourses,suchasdatastructure,operatingsystem,database,belongstothecomputerclass,others,suchassignalprocessing,highfrequencycircuit,circuitprinciplebelongstoelectronics,andthecommunicationprinciplebetweentheprofessionalfoundationcourses,suchaslearningscopeiswide.Needwestudentshavestronglogicalthinkingability,especiallysuitableforthosestudentswithdeepunderstandingandanalytical.Professionaldivisionisthinner,theprofessionalcan"soft"can"hard",tendtocomputerandelectronictwodirectionsrespectively.
Communicationengineeringistheinformationandtherapiddevelopmentofscienceandtechnologyandadynamicfield,especiallydigitalmobilecommunications,opticalfibercommunication,Internet,networkcommunicationmakespeopleinthepassinginformationandaccesstoinformationhasreachedunprecedentedconveniencedegree.Adecadeago,HongKongandTaiwangangbossesinthefilmcanbeusedtohitthe"bigbrother"ofpeople,alreadybecamesothinlight,colorful,andintothehandofordinarypeople;PreviouslyonlymonthsflyingpigeonbiographybookscancontactforeignfriendscanusethesimpleandconvenientandquickE-mailandgreetings,instantmessaging,andevenanetworkmeetingoncamera!
Allthisshouldbeattributedtotherapiddevelopmentofcommunicationengineeringtechnology.Communicationengineering,therefore,istopromotethedevelopmentofinformationtechnologyhashelped.
Informationtechnologyandcommunicationtechnologyiscomplementarytoeachother,communicationtechnologyisamodernsound,light,electricitytechnologyasthefoundationofhardware,supplementedbythecorrespondingsoftwaretoachieveinformationexchange.Theendoflastcentury,multimedia,theapplicationoftheInternethasgreatlypromotedthespreadofthedevelopmentofcommunicationengineeringspecialty,lookingforwardtoearlythiscentury,broadbandtechnology,opticalcommunicationalsohasemerged.Today,thesetechniqueshavebeendevelopedmoremature,wesurftheInternettodaylargelyusebroadbandInternetaccess,isalsobenefitingfromthedevelopmentofthesetechnologies,wenowcanhaveliferichandcolorfulInternet.
Ourcommunicationengineeringisdividedintotwosubjects,oneisbiasedtowardsthetransmissionof"communicationandinformationsystem",theotheroneistothedecodingofthesignalandinformationprocessing.Thisallhavegreatrelationshipwithinformationtechnology.
Communicationengineeringinthefieldofanother,isthisontheonehand,itisimportanttocomputerandnetworktechnology,computernetworkreferstothedifferentgeographicalpositionhasindependentfunctionofcomputeranditsperipheralequipment,throughthecommunicationlinesconnected,inanetworkoperatingsystem,networkmanagementsoftwareandnetworkmanagementandcoordinationofcommunicationprotocol,realizeresourcessharingandinformationtransmissionofcomputersystem.
Functionofthecomputernetworkismainlymanifestedinthehardwareresourcesharing,thesoftwareresourcesharingandinformationexchangebetweenusersinthreeaspects.
1.Thehardwareresourcesharing.Canbedealtwithwithinthescopeoftheentirenetworktoprovidetheresources,storageresources,expensiveequipmentsuchasinputandoutputofresourcessharing,theusertosaveinvestment,alsofacilitatecentralizedmanagementandbalancedsharetheload.
2.Thesoftwareresourcesharing.AllowsusersoftheInternettoremoteaccesstoallkindsoflargedatabase,youcangetthenetworkfiletransferservice,remoteprocessmanagementservicesandremotefileaccessservice,soastoavoidtherepeatedlaborinthesoftwaredevelopmentanddataresourcesrepetitionofstorage,alsofacilitatecentralizedmanagement.
3.Theinformationexchangebetweenusers.Acrossacomputernetworkfordistributionintheuserprovidesapowerfulmeansofcommunication.Theusercansendanemailthroughthecomputernetwork,publishnewsande-commerceactivities.
Communicationengineeringforanotherimportantcontributioninthefieldofinformationliesinsatellitecommunications,especiallyinChina'sbigdippersatelliteprogramisapowerfulexplanationBeidousatellitenavigationsystemisdevelopedbyChina'sregionalactive3dsatellitepositioningandcommunicationsystem(CNSS),isinadditiontotheU.S.globalpositioningsystem(GPS),thethirdafterRussia'sGLONASSsatellitenavigationsystem.Butonaglobalscalewithhighprecision,all-weather,forallkindsofusersthroughoutthehighreliablepositioning,navigationandtimingservices,andwithshortmessagecommunicationskills.Theeighthandninthbeidousatellitein2011,wasthelongMarch3arocketintospaceisscheduledtotransferorbit.InDecember2011,thebeidousatellitenavigationsystem,aspokesmanforRanChengitssaidthebeidousatellitenavigationsystemwillbeformedinthe2020globalcoverage.Inrecentyearsthedevelopmentofsatellitecommunicationtechnologyemergeinendlessly.Suchasverysmallearthstationantenna(VSAT)system,themovementofthelowandmiddleorbitsatellitecommunicationsystemhasreceivedwidespreadattentionandapplication.Satellitecommunicationisanimportantpartofglobalinformationhighwayinthefuture.Itwithitswidecoverage,largecapacityofcommunication.Communicationdistance,withoutbeinglimitedbythegeographicalenvironment,highqualityandeconomicbenefit,etc.Theapplicationinourcountryforthefirsttimein1972,andtherapiddevelopment,togetherwiththeopticalfibercommunication,digitalmicrowavecommunication,becamethemainstayofthecontemporarylongdistancecommunicationinourcountry.
Satellitecommunicationbecauseitisnotlimitedbygeographicalcondition,withflexiblemobility,soisstillinaccordancewithitsadvantagesofinnovationanddevelopment.Butalsobythechallengeoftherapiddevelopmentofopticalfibercommunication,itislargerthanthecapacityofsatellitecommunications,thetransmissionrateishigh,therearealotofoverseascommunicationswerereplacedbyasubmarinecable,mainlandalsohasasimilarsituation.Inmidandlate1990sSatellitetelevisionBroadcast(DBs,DirectBroadcastSatelliteorDTH-DirectTotheHome),SatellitevoiceBroadcast,SatellitemobilecommunicationandSatellitebroadbandmultimediacommunicationbecomesthenewfourdevelopmenttrend.
Satellitecommunicationsdevelopmenttrendofthegeneraldevelopmentdirectionoflargecapacity,highpower,highspeed,broadband,lowcostandhightransmittingfrequency,therepeater,multipointbeamandinformsthebeam,theapplicationofthestarontheswitchingsignalprocessingtechnology,signalprocessing,etc.,satelliteliveTVinthe21stcentury(DBS,TV),personalmobilesatellitecommunications,multimediasatellitecommunication,satelliteaudiobroadcast,satellitenetworkTVwillbealotofdevelopment.VSATbusinessscopeexpandsunceasingly,deepintoeveryfieldofnationaleconomy,moreshowitseconomicandsocialbenefits,ka-bandapplicationfurtherminiaturizationofequipment,ofcoursealsobroughtattenuationseriousdefects.Opticalcommunicationapplicationinsatellitecommunicationgraduallybecomemature,itrequiresprecisesatellitecontroltechnology,thecurrentintheworldisstillinthedevelopmentstage,isexpectedsoonwillenterthepracticalstage.
