IhavebeenteachingEnglishatavillageprimaryschoolforthreeyears.Duringmyteachingofrecentyears,IhavefoundtherearemanyproblemsstudentsarefacedinmemorizingEnglishwords.NowI'llfinishmyfurthereducationinGansuCentralRadioandTVUniversityWuWeiBranch.IhopeIcansolvetheproblemswhichhavetroubledmeforsometheoryintopractice,whichIlearnedfromGansuCentralRadioandTVUniversityWuWeiBranch.

TheproblemIfaceduringmyteachingisthatitishardformymoststudentstomemorizeEnglishwords.somestudentscan’tmemorizewords.Whilesomestudentscan’tleavethewordstheyhavememorizedintheirmindsforlongtime.ItrytousemyknowledgethatIhavestudiedinGansuCentralRadioTVUniversity.tohelpthemsolvetheproblems.

Inmyteaching,Ithinktheproblemanalysishavemainlythreereasons:
Firstly,becausemystudentsarechildrenoffarmers.Familiesdon’tspeakEnglish.Mystudentsthinkittobenotfamiliar.secondly,wecan’toftenspeakEnglishinmydaylife.TheythinkthatitisuselesstolearnEnglish,it’senoughtolearnChinesewell.Studentsdon’trealizedinternationalform.Thirdly,someofstudentsfeltoverloadedbecauseoftheheavierhomeworkassignments.Somestudentsdon’twanttomemorizeEnglishwords,becauseittakestoomuchtimetomemorizeEnglishwords,andtheyareforgetful.

Inmyteaching,Ifoundtheproblemanalysishavetworeasons:
Somestudentsdon’thaveinterestsinlearningEnglish.SotheyspendinglittletimeinrememberingEnglishwords;SomestudentshardlynotonlyreadEnglishtexts,butalsocan’tuseEnglishwordsthattheyhavelearnedtowritearticles,Sotheycan’trememberwordseasily.
Asweallknow,agoodspeakerneedstobeableuseaccuratespelling,meaningfulpunctuation,appropriatevocabulary,correctgrammar,clearhandwritingandformat,appropriateformality,aswellasavarietyofcoherentsentencestructures,anddiscourseandrhetoricalconventions.Whilesomesuperficialfeaturesareeasyforourstudentstonotice,theuseofcohesivedevicesneedstobeemphasized.Cohesivedevicesplayanimportantroleinorganizingsentencesintoacoherenttext,sowewillfocusalittleattentiononthem.BecauseallofthemarebasedonEnglishwords.
