UCSBdoctoralstudentDesmondandProfessorToddsaidtheyhaveseenreportsaboutoctopusskinchangingcolorsinresponsetolightwithnosignalfromtheeyeorbrain.However,therehadbeennofollow-uptofindoutwhythiswasthecaseandthetwodecidedtoseewhattheycoulduncover.
