InIndia,citiessuchasAhmedabadandChennaihavealreadyexperimentedwith3Dzebracrossingsinthelastoneyear.InAhmedabadforinstance,twoartists,motheranddaughterhavepainted3Dcrosswalksinthefirstfewmonthsofthisyear.Theartistssaytheirmottois“toincreasetheattentionofdrivers”,andthattheconcepthasbeensuccessfullytestedinzoneswhereaccidentseasilyoccuronahighway.
