我们可以把论点设置为:
尽管能力很重要,但如果没有较好的外貌,一个人也难以获得成功。
理由:
①第一印象影响深远,这是人之常情。
在能力相差不大的时候,决定因素就是外貌。
②有能力的人如果不注意形象,会招致误解,影响工作。
比如占代的庞统就因为貌丑被刘备分到一个偏僻地方当小县令。
结论:
外貌也是生产力,我们没有理由不注重自己的仪表。
当然,更多人会选择“公认”的论点,认为能力比外貌更重要。
可以把论点设为:
尽管外貌漂亮具有优势,但长远来看,还是能力更重要。
理由:
①任何实际问题的解决都需要能力,光靠外表于事无补。
尽管赏心悦目的外表可以给人较好的第一印象,但如果能力不够,不能胜任工作,照样还会被淘汰。
②有能力的人在工作中能够展现自信,会越来越呈现出自己的人格魅力,越来越受欢迎;而仅有美貌没有内涵的人,接触久了就会越来越丧失魅力。
③外在的美是具有时效性的,会随时间的推移而丧失,而注重能力的提高,可以使自己不断得到充实。
