Unit8I’llhelpcleanupthecitypark.
教材分析
本单元的主题是谈论如何向他人提供帮助和参加公益活动。
通过听、说、读、写技能训练,熟练掌握“Iwill…”,“Iwouldlike...”等句型以及一些动词短语,向别人提供帮助,使学生学会关注社会,关心他人;要求学生制定计划,积极参加志愿者活动,培养学生乐于助人的优良品质。

1. behometosb./sth.意思是“…..是某人/某物的家”。
例:

2. put…togooduse意思是“把…投入更好的使用”。

3. notonly…butalso意思是“不仅….而且”。
①连接两个并列的成分,如主语、谓语、宾语、表语、定状语等。
由于这个词组所强调的是后者,因此连接主语时,谓语的数随后一个主语变化。
例:
Notonlyyoubutalsoheknowstheanswer.(连接两个主语)
②连接两个句子,而当notonly用于句首时,前一个句子必须倒装。
另外,also的位置比较灵活,也可以省略。
例:
Notonlydidhecame,buthealsohelpedussolvetheproblem.
4. putoff意思是“推迟”。
例:
Neverputoffthethingstodaytilltomorrow.(asaying)
当推迟的对象是人称代词时,代词位于中间,如putit/themoff.
