Measuringprinciple
Faraday’slawofinductionstatesthatavoltageisinducedinaconductormovinginamagneticfield.
Inelectromagneticmeasuring,theflowingmediumcorrespondstothemovingconductor.Theinducedvoltageisproportionaltotheflowvelocityandisdetectedbytwomeasuringelectrodesandtransmittedtotheamplifier.Flowvolumeiscomputedonthebasisofthepipe'sdiameter.Theconstantmagneticfieldisgeneratedbyaswitcheddirectcurrentofalternatingpolarity.
