TheLithium-IonrechargeablebatteriesdescribedinthisMaterialSafetyDataSheetaresealedunitswhicharenothazardouswhenusedaccordingtotherecommendationsofthemanufacturer.
Undernormalconditionsofuse,thesolidelectrodematerialsandliquidelectrolytetheycontainarenon-reactiveprovidedthebatteryintegrityismaintainedandsealsremainintact.Riskofexposureonlyincaseofabuse(mechanical,thermal,electrical)whichleadstotheactivationofthesafetyvalveand/ortheruptureofthebatterycontainenElectrolyteleakage,electrodematerialsreactionwithmoisture/waterorbatteryvent/explosion/firemayfollow,dependinguponthe
circumstances.batteriesarefittedwithasafetyventforprotectionincaseofexcessiveinternalpressureand/ortemperature.

6-ACCIDENTALRELEASEMEASURES
Thematerialcontainedwithinthebatterieswouldonlybeexpelledunderabusiveconditions.Usingshovelorbroom,coverbatteryorspilledsubstanceswithdrysandorvermiculite,placeinapprovedcontainer(aftercoolingifnecessary)anddisposeinaccordancewithlocalregulations.
7・HANDLINGANDSTORAGE
Thebatteriesshouldnotbeopened,destroyednorincineratesincetheymayleakorruptureandreleaseintheenvironmenttheingredientstheycontain.Handling:
Donotcrush,pierce,short(+)and(-)batteryterminalswith
conductive(i.e.metal)goods.DonotdirectlyheatorsoldenDonotthrowintofire.Donotmixbatteriesofdifferenttypesandbrands*Donotmixnewandusedbatteries.Keepbatteriesinnon-conductive(i.e>plastic)trays.Donotstrikeorthrowthebatteryagainsthardsurface.Donotdirectlysolderthebattervandpiercethebattervwithanailorothersharpobject>

Storeinacool(preferablybelow30°C)andventilatedarea
