1、大学英语A教学大纲课程编号： 课程类型：公共基础课程名称：大学英语A 英文名称：College English A学 分：4 适用对象：本科统招第一部分 大纲说明一、课程的性质、目的及任务大学英语的课程性质：大学英语是高等教育的一个有机组成部分，大学英语课程是我院学生的必修课。大学英语是以英语语言知识与应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容，以外语教学理论为指导，并集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。大学英语的教学目的是培养学生的英语综合应用能力，特别是听说能力，使他们在今后的工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流，同时增强其自主学习能力，提高综合文化素养，以适应我国社
2、会发展和国际交流的需要。本课程的任务是让学生在大学一年级第一学期内，修完大学英语（董亚芬）第一册的全部内容,从而在词汇以及听、说、读、写、译等六个方面达到本大纲的要求。二、课程的基本要求大学英语教学的基本原则：1. 大学英语课程要适应社会和学生的各种层次的要求。因此，课程必须多样化，要尽量多地向学生提供除大学英语基础课程外的各种应用性课程和文化交际性课程，为学生创造和提供更多的自我发展的机会。2. 大学英语课程的设计与实施要有利于学生自主学习能力的发展。为培养他们积极主动的学习方法，形成有效的学习策略。要采用课堂教学和自主学习相结合的方式，营造个性化学习的环境，努力向学生提供自主学习的资源和场
3、所。3. 大学英语课程要充分运用先进的多媒体网络等现代化教育技术。应积极采用全方位、立体化的多媒体教学手段，努力提高教学效率和教学质量。应加大现代教育技术手段的建设，力争使大学英语多媒体授课的课时比例逐步达到50%以上。 4. 大学英语课程在帮助学生继续打好语言基础的同时，要特别重视培养学生的应用交际能力。本课程基本要求：着重培养学生听、说、读、写、译五个方面英语能力：1、推荐词汇量：掌握的词汇量应达到2500个单词和500个词组(含中学应掌握的词汇)，其中1800个单词为积极词汇，即要求学生能够在认知的基础上学会熟练运用，包括口头和书面表达两个方面。2、听力理解能力：能听懂日常英语谈话和一般
4、性题材讲座，能基本听懂英语节目，语速为每分钟100词左右；3、口语表达能力：能在学习过程中用英语交流，并能就某一主题进行讨论，能就所熟悉的话题经准备后作简短发言，语音、语调基本正确。4、阅读理解能力：能基本读懂一般性题材的英文文章，阅读速度达到每分钟55词。在快速阅读篇幅较长、难度略低的材料时，阅读速度达到每分钟85词。能在阅读中使用有效的阅读方法。5、书面表达能力：能完成一般性写作任务，能写常见的应用文，能就一般性话题或提纲在半小时内写出100词的短文，内容基本完整，用词恰当，语意连贯。能掌握基本的写作技能。6、翻译能力：能借助词典对题材熟悉的文章进行英汉互译，英汉译速为每小时250英语单词
5、，汉英译速为每小时210个汉字。译文基本流畅，能在翻译时使用适当的翻译技巧。三、本课程与相关课程的联系：本课程的前续课程是高中阶段的英语课程。要求学生进入大学之前系统地修完高中阶段的英语课程，掌握了大约2000个左右的英语基本词汇及相应的语法知识。本课程的后继课程为大学英语精读和听说考生听2-4册和拓展英语、泛读练习。四、学时分配本课程学分为4学分，建议开设64学时（在保证学分的前提下可以微调）。章（节）内容讲课学时课堂讨论（习题课）学时现场教学学时总学时精读Unit 1 Some Strategies for Learning English66听说Unit 1,2 Meeting Peop
